Ian Jack is a geophysicist and seismologist who has explored for oil and gas all over the world since the 1960s. Exploration in remote places sometimes requires trying something completely different and always needs a positive attitude and a sense of humour.
This talk is not about trains or ‘great railway journeys’ or any travelogues of that type. It will be entertaining and will contain surprises. It will take you to some places which are no longer accessible.
Tea and delicious home made cake will be available for a small charge.
Pay on the door.
